Sarah's revelation in song writing came when she started setting poetry to music, mainly the verse of WB Yeats which occupies the main part of her first two albums. She discovered the beauty of lyrics directing music set in a world where scenery,  stories and  legends help her describe a very human experience. She surrounds herself with the sound of Scottish tradionnal music in which she feels at home  as an imported acoustic musician.  When not  playing Sarah can be seen around Lochaber guiding  visitors, sharing  stories and songs.  The line between  being musician songwriter  and a tour guide does not exist with Sarah. It is all about telling good stories and what they mean to her.
