It is snowing above Kinlochleven over the creags under Na Gruagaichean. Snow is coming ! Sarah turns to  a very dear friend  who has been very ill and promises her that they will meet again and play together in the snow like children fully aware that those moments are precious.

Breathe Another Day.

It’s snowing on the Creag.

The maidens’ ridge is white.

Beads of flakes are twirling

Slowly round your neck.

The air is bountiful.

You smile. It’s beautiful.

Sky looks good for flying.

Dancing birds descend.

They defy church bells

And the stories that the clock tells.

The real time is now.

Follow your heart somehow.

Sunlight will come and we will meet behind the brae.

I’ll hold you close and we will breathe another day.

I want to tread this snow before the summer dew

And feel that every flake on your face now is new.

Give us time today

As frail dreams die away.

Tender is the day,

Night has gone astray,

We’ll stop behind the brae

And breathe another day.

Sunlight will come and we will meet behind the brae.

I’ll hold you close and we will breathe another day.

I want to tread this snow before the summer dew

And feel that every flake on your face now is new.
